Instructions

  1. Toast bread slices until golden and crisp. Gently rub one side of each warm toast with the peeled garlic clove.
  2. Arrange the thinly sliced tomato on top of the garlic-rubbed toast. Season lightly with sea salt.
  3. Carefully place the drained sardines over the tomato slices. Drizzle generously with extra virgin olive oil.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately for a fresh, savory start.
